Check the rhime
Back in the days on the boulevard of Linden, we used to kick routines and the presence was fittin
It was I the abstract
And me the five footer
I kicks the mad style so step off the frankfurter
I was going through my xfinity guide and Starz was showing Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest. Man, Tribe was one of my favorite rap group… I still remember spittin’ along with Q and Phife when Check The Rhime would come on MTV.
I remember watching mad music videos back in the day and this was one of my favorites….
Looking back at it on youtube, why is Q-Tip wearing a Yankees jersey with an Oakland A’s cap???? Things that makes you go hmmmmm…..

One of my favorite songs of all time is Around The Way Girl by LL Cool J. It’s my favorite so much that I set up my ringtone in Hub's’ cell with this instrumental – yeah I’m a total geek!
I could sing this lyrics to a T! I had LL Cool J posters in my wall and even tore up the lyrics to this song from a Word Up! magazine.

80s Theme
So at Baby Boy’s school, they had an 80s theme day. I love dressing up so I was suped when I get to him dress up too!
They provided examples and ideas on what the kids can wear such as neon colors, polo shirts with the collar up, cuffed pants and so on….
Me being a hip hopper decided to dress him up in a Run DMC outfit… thats right, Kangol hat and all!
